About K9 Kaos
K9 Kaos has been providing quality dog care in the Seacoast NH area since 2004.
Our original facility on Dover Point opened its doors in 2004 and we offered dog daycare and grooming for thousands of dogs over the course of almost eight years. We are now in our new state-of-the-art facility on Sixth Street in Dover. Our new building is complete with new services, including training and overnight boarding, and of course, we continue to provide superior dog daycare, grooming services and a wonderful pet supply store.
Our staff is experienced and continues to participate in ongoing training. We have management residing on the property, so your dog always has excellent care.
Our Founder Anne Nichols
In addition to her experience in corporate marketing, Anne has been involved in many aspects of dog care, rescue, and performance events. After adopting her first dog in 1991 she became an active volunteer for Greyhound Placement Service of NH and logged hundreds of hours working in the forty-dog kennel. She currently serves as vice president of the organization, a position that she has held since 1995.
Anne has been training dogs for many different types of events since 1992 and has experience in canine pack behavior, training techniques and methods, canine health and exercise, and overall dog behavior. Her personal dogs have all competed and titled in agility, amateur racing, confirmation, obedience, and lure coursing. She has finished multiple champions; both in performance and confirmation, with her dogs ranking among the top ten lure coursing and amateur racing dogs in the country.
Anne founded K9 Kaos in 2003 and opened a small dog daycare facility in Dover, NH. With the help of eminent domain, she thought it was a good time to expand. In 2009 she purchased some land and built a brand new facility. The new K9 Kaos offers boarding, daycare, grooming, training, and shopping. She currently manages the business and an amazing team of thirty “K9 Crew”. In 2014, Anne was awarded the US Small Business Administration’s Women Owned Small Business of the Year, winning in both the State of New Hampshire and the overall New England region.
Anne currently shares her home in Dover, NH with her husband Aaron and their greyhounds. She continues to stay active in the dog community.
